Liber III Institutionu[m] ciuilium juxta formam quatuor librorum traditi mihi Dominico Megali ab admodum ... Paulo de Simone ab Ursumarsico ... Napoli in studio de Simone 1693, 1692?

Fair manuscript copy of lectures given by Paolo de Simone at the University of Naples, as reported by his student Domenico Megali. The lectures may have been delivered in 1692 (the date partially visible on the cropped top margin of the first leaf of text). Megali appears to have completed this fair copy on 15 August 1693 : explicit, p. 232. Megali records in a note on the back pastedown that Simone died on Friday, May 7, 1694. An Italian sonnet on the life and death of Pope Innocent XI, is written in a different hand on the front flyleaf.
