Diary, 1804-1805, of McKee, frontiersman, U.S. agent to the Choctaw and Chickasaw Indians in eastern Mississippi, and U.S. representative from Alabama (1823-1829), and eight letters, 1793-1829, concerning Indian affairs and lands belonging to Gen. Lafayette. The diary was written while McKee was U.S. Indian agent, and deals chiefly with travels and contacts with Cherokee and Chickasaw Indians.
