Acknowledgement by Adam de Aula of Pyleholte that he is bound to defend against the lords of the fee and all men John de Sandhurst, Katherine his wife, and William de Langele and Cristina his wife in respect of 1/2 acre of land sold to them by him in Pyleholte, lying between the wood of John and William on the north and east, his land on the south, and the land, Richard his son, held of John and William, on the west. Given at Pyleholte on the feast of St. Edmund, King and Martyr, 10 Edward III.
