AHF Photographic Albums Collection, ca. 1860-ca. 1970 [photographs].

This collection consists of orphaned or individually donated photo albums. These albums range in condition from poor to excellent. They represent various subject matter, photographic processes, and photographers from Arizona and the greater southwest. Some albums were commercially printed while others are personal family endeavors or community projects. Albums have been placed in preservation housings. Where possible original bindings were left intact. Albums are arranged individually with like-sized items stored together when possible. Not arranged by subject or date range due to storage requirements of each album. Album titles in quotations are the titles given by the maker, all other titles are descriptive. All photographs are assumed to be gelatin silver prints unless otherwise noted. Each album has a short description of broad subjects covered and approximate count of photographs contained within.
