Biographical Note: Betty Adler was an author and lecturer. She was born in Havana in 1918 and came to Baltimore in 1933 as a student at Goucher College. Miss Adler was nationally known for her work on the Enoch Pratt Free Library's Mencken collection. She published "H.L.M.: The Mencken Bibliography" in 1961.
