Remo J. Billi was born in N.Y. in 1922. He enlisted in the Army in 1943 in New York City, N.Y. before joining the 10th Mountain Division in Italy. He served with Company B of the 85th Infantry Battalion. Billi was killed in action at Mt. Delta Spe Hill 909 on April 14, 1945. From the description of Remo J. Billi papers, 1945.
