This documentary profiles Mexican-American artist Carlos Almaraz (1941-1989), who was born in Mexico City and raised in Chicago and Los Angeles. For three years he worked for Cesar Chavez and the United Farmworkers Union, making murals, banners and other artworks. In 1973 Almaraz co-founded Los Four, a Los Angeles art collective that brought Chicano street art to the attention of the mainstream art community.
