Marriage Settlement, 1435, March 20. 13 Henry VI.

Marriage settlement between Perkyn Kay and John of Tymble that Henry, son and heir of John, shall wed Janet, daughter of Perkyn, before the feast of St. Michael next; that John and Agnes his wife are to enfeoff Henry and Janet in tail of 2 burgages in Ledes, now in the tenure of Thomas Stadlay and John Bowderode, before the feast of Pentecost next with reversion upon the death of Henry, in default of issue, to Janet and her heirs forever; for which Janet is to pay them 10 marks upon Henry's death. If Janet dies, Perkyn is to have the premisses till he has received £20 from Henry. Also, the said Perkyn is to pay John 24 marks in hand. Made on 20 March, 13 Henry VI.
