Letter of Thomas Sackville, earl of Dorset, to the King's Auditor of the counties of Dorset and Somerset, requesting him to send particulars on the offices below mentioned and to advise on granting them in fee farm to the earl of Sussex. Dated at Dorset House, 30 November, 1604: Forest of Gillingham, East and West Chauns, and lands in Watchett leased to Roland Dawson.
