Bargain and sale, 1626, July 19. 2 Charles I.

Bargain and sale by Thomas Seyliard of Delaware in the parish of Brasted (Kent), esq., to Henry Walter of Heaver (Kent), carpenter, for £53, of a piece of meadow ground called "Medhurstesmeade" containing 2 1/2 acres with its appurtenances, lying within the parish of Eadon-bridge (Kent), bounded by a lane called "Cheyines lane" to the east; a meadow, the inheritance of William Seyliard of Brasted, called "Hookes," to the north; a small brook or little river called "Osmondes brook" to the west; and a meadow of William Byrstie, gentleman, known by the name of "Medery-hawe meade" to the south, which parcel was sometime parcel of the lands of William Seyliard, esq., deceased, father of the said Thomas; with covenant to discharge it from all encumbrance.
