Bargain and sale by Sir Roger Manwood, knight, Lord Chief Baron of the Exchequer, to John Golder of Eastry near Sandwich (Kent) of a windmill at Sandowne without the walls of Sandwich, now or late in the occupation of Thomas Yomans, with 1 acre of land in Sandowne to the said mill appertaining, bounded by the lands of John Tripp to the north, the lands of the heirs of Robert Mennes to the west, the lands of Matthew Menes to the south, and the lands of the heirs of Henry Boteler, gentleman, to the east; with also all his interest in 1 horse pasture at Sandowne. Appointment of Roger Manwood of Sandwich, jurat, as his attorney to deliver seisin. Dated 8 November, 27 Elizabeth, 1585. Endorsed with a note of livery of seisin.
