Grant, 1581, December 7. 24 Elizabeth I.

Grant by Richard Fane of East Peckham, alias Greate Peckham (Kent), gentleman, to Robert Byng of Wroteham (Kent), esq., in fulfillment of an agreement made between them on 21 November last past; of all his manor, tenements, or messuage called "Bromhams," with 6 several parcels of land belonging thereto: the parcel on which the said messuage stands containing 1 acre; "Barnfeild," 3 acres; an adjacent parcel, 2 1/2 acres; "Annett Lande," 4 acres; "the Halfe Acre," and "Shaknalles," 4 acres; and of a meadow called "Fellmeade," 3 acres. Endorsed with a note stating that this indenture had been delivered by Richard Stanford to Henry Cheesman who late purchased of him part of the said lands.
