Bargain and sale by Edward de Vere, earl of Oxford, viscount Bulbecke, lord chamberlain of England, and lord of Bradlesmere and Seale, to Richard Branthwaytt of Lincoln's Inn (Midd.), gentleman, of the manor of Fingerithe otherwise Fingrithe Hall (Essex), and of all his messuages, etc., in Fingrith, Blackamore, Doddinghurst, Shenfyled, Thobye, Wyrttle, Roxwell, Frierninge, Ingateston, Kellden, Margaretinge, Highehonger, Standon, and Norton Maundevyle in the county of Essex. Sealed and delivered on 16 April. With a note stating that the charter was duly recognized in the court of John Gybon on 10 September. Endorsed with note of enrolment in the Close Roll by William Hers and John Baylie.
