Bargain and sale by Leonard Osborne of Great Yarmouth (Norf.), gentleman, and Rachel his wife, to Robert Harmer of Great Yarmouth, baker, and Anne his wife, for £200 in hand and for £300 to be paid in installments on the first of January 1646 and 1647 of those messuages, etc., lying in Great Yarmouth, between a common row or lane to the north; other lands granted in these presents to the south; abutting on the "denne" to the east; and upon the ground late of Andrew Raw and now of John Wade and that of Gilbert Crane, now of John Hareward, to the west; also a garden to the south of the aforesaid messuage, abutting on the lands sometime of Edmund Ladds, now of John Harward, towards the west; with reversion expected on the death of Margaret the wife of Isaac Whewell, late of Great Yarmouth, sail sower, one of the daughters of George Hardware, late of Great Yarmouth, merchant, deceased; with other tenements, excepting the garden that Leonard late purchased of one Thomas Hardwar, merchant, deceased, and Susan his wife, by an indenture dated 4 January 16 Charles I and deed dated the 6th which garden was granted to them by Benjamin Cooper, burgess and alderman of Great Yarmouth, on 15 February 1624.
