Assignment by William Barnard of Harleston in the county of Norfolk, gentleman, Thomas Frere of Farfield in the same county, gentleman, and Thomas Cullum of Thorndon in the county of Suffolk, gentleman, to Stephen Baxter of Mendham in the county of Suffolk, gentleman, of all their right in the manor or lordship of Seymers, with cottages and land in Mendham and Nedeham, in the county of Norfolk part known by the name of Seymers Close between the king's highway leading from Harleston towards Nedeham church on the west, and a certain way or lane leading from Harleston Market towards Shotforth bridge to the east, and abutting upon another lane towards the north, and upon the lands late of Thomas Brabon and the close called Hempstenles and the pigstell called Seymers pigstell to the south, and 1 cottage in the occupation of Robert Migg; for the residue of the term of 450 years, for which the premisses, by lease dated 5 November [1623] 21 James I, were demised to Thomas Blosse of Norwich, esqure, now deceased, and the said William Barnard, by Stephen Baxter, gentleman, now deceased, father of the said Stephen.
