Mortgage by Thomas Gooddyn of East Peckham in the county of Kent, yeoman, to Robert Byng of Wroteham in the same county, esquire, for £50, of lands called Newe Mead, Homefelde, and Risshettes, containing 10 acres altogether, bounded by lands of Sir Thomas Fane, the heir of John Kenward; free of all encumbrances, including the dower of Margery, wife of Thomas. This indenture void if Thomas repay to Robert the sum of £50 by 31 October 1587.
