Lease, 1576, Oct. 10. 18 Elizabeth I.

Lease [1576, Oct. 10] by James Ravenhill of the parish of Woolhope in the county of Hereford, yeoman, to George Archard of Chekley in the said county, carpenter, for £7 for the term of 69 years of a parcel of ground containing 12 acres called Dunderleye in the parish of Mordeforde in the county aforesaid, now in the occupation of the lessee. Rent: 7s. yearly for the first 9 years and 14s. for the residue of the term. Transfer of the lease [1627, May 31] on reverse: Thomas Archard of Checkley to John Archard his son; grant of all his right in the unexpired term of years contained in the lease; dated the last day of May, 3 Charles [I], and sealed in the presence of Thomas Bande and John Bunch, and signed "Thomas Archard" with his seal.
