Grant by Vincent Puckle of Lidd in the county of Kent, yeoman, to Reginald Filmer of Boughton Malherbe in the same county, husbandman, for £195 of his messuage, one barr, one close, and 9 pieces of land containing in all 30 1/2 acres, situated in the parishes of Halden and Biddenden in Kent, bounded by the King's highway to the south-east, the lands of [?] Watts to the south-west and north-west, the lands of John Mayney, esquire, toward the north, the lands of Richard Reader toward the north-east and east, and the lands of William Levendale to the north-west, north-east and south-west, and south-east; now or late in the tenure or occupation of Anthony Harbell or his assigns, free of all encumbrances save the jointure of Alice his wife.
