Grant by Thomas Godfrey of Sellinge in the county of Kent, esquire, to William Marsh of Brouckland in the aforesaid county, yeoman, for the sum of £342 of a tenement, 3 pieces of land with their appurtenances, lying in Brouckland and containing in all 19 acres; the tenement and 1 piece of 11 acres of land lying bounded by the king's highway to the north and south, and the lands of lord Tufton and of John Berrey, esq., to the east, and the lands of the heirs of John Plomer, gentleman, and John Minge to the west; the other piece, containging 5 acres, lying bounded by the king's highway to the north, and lands of John Fagg, gentleman, to the east and south, and the lands of John Minge to the west; the remaining pieces contain 3 acres lying bounded by the king's highway to the east and north, the lands of John Minge to the south, and the lands of the heirs of John Plomber to the west. With warranty against himself and his father Thomas Godfrey, esq., and his heirs. Endorsed with a note of livery of seisin.
