Grant by John Cary of Stanwell in the county of Middlesex, esquire, to John Huxley of Edmonton in the said county, esquire, Thomas Huxley of Lincoln's Inn in the said county, esquire, Gilles Dent of Newport in the county of Essex, esquire, and James Huxley of Gray's Inn in the said county of Middlesex, esquire, for 5s. and other divers good causes and valuable considerations of his moiety of the lordship and manor of Minster in the Isle of Thanett in the county of Kent and other lands in Kent granted by letters patent dated 29 December 9 James I to Philip Cary, knight, John Williams, esquire, and William Pitt, then esquire and afterwards knight, and now deceased. With a note on the dorse: "Perused by John Whitgild."
