Grant by John Tomson of Colby in the county of Norfolk, butcher, and Elizabeth his wife to Richard Smelling the Elder of North Walsham in the county aforesaid, yeoman, in consideration of a certain sum of all that freehold messuage in Colby aforesaid, late Robert Wegge's, with all yards and grounds thereto belonging, containing 3 acres between the close of Margaret Wegg to the north, and the close of the said Margaret to the south, and abutting on a certain way called "Parkway" toward the west and on the common pasture of Colby toward the east; with other lands amounting to 13 acres and 1 rood copyhold, bounded by various holdings of William Smyth, Thomas Collyders, Edmund Smyth, Christopher Yongesnoke, Richard Harman, and Robert Megg and Mary his wife; with all rents appertaining thereto.
