Lease by William Kempson of Hillburrow House in the county of Warwick, gentleman, and Mary his wife to William Price of Packwood in the county aforesaid, yeoman. Whereas Oliver Dalton, late of Henley in Arden in the said county, gentleman, deceased, was seised of a messuage in Packwood called or known by the name of the Ivye House with diverse close and meadow, etc., reputed to be appertaining and belonging thereunto; and did by his last will and testament dated 31 August 1636 devise them to Margaret his wife, now deceased for a term of 99 years, and on her death to his daughter Mary, now the wife of William Kempson, for the unoccupied portion of the 99 years - Now this indenture leases the premises to William Price for a term of 80 years, if Ann, wife of William Price, and William and John his sons, or any of them, shall so long live. Rent: 2s. or a couple of capons to Mary Itchew of Tamworth, widow; and after her death £16, 5s. yearly. With various notes: a discharge of homage witnessed by Simon Dinoly, clerk, and John Millard; a later note to the effect that William Kempson discharge William PRice of an annuity of 20s. to be paid out of the property, as per the will of the late Oliver Dalton - witnesses by Richard Kempson and Daniell Jordan.
