Grant by Richard Clerk, Thomas Taylour, and James Potyn of Wyttersham to Thomas Warener of Bateyll of one piece of marshland called "Sar'pece", containing 8 acres lying in the parish of Wyttersham aforesaid in the tenure of the court of Palstr', bounded by the lands of Mathew Browne, knight, and the land of Thomas Wynbourne to the east, the land of the heirs of William Cheyne, esquire, to the south, the land of the college of Marydeston to the west and the land of William Potyn, clerk, to the north; for £6 in hand and £14 to be paid in specified instalments. Which land the grantors had, jointly with James Mapelysden, deceased, of the feoffment of John Aase, deceased. Given at Wyttersham on 6th July, A.D. 1491, 6 Henry VII.
