Indenture between John Holnes of Marley in the parish of Bethersden (Kent), son and heir of John Holnes, late of the same, yeoman, deceased, and John Hodges of Great Chart (Kent), being a marriage settlement by John Holnes on himself, Dyonise Hodges, daughter of John Hodges, his intended wife, and the heirs of their bodies, of a messuage, etc., of Marley in the parish of Bethersden aforesaid and 8 pieces of land containing approximately 16 acres belonging thereto; remainder in default of issue to his own right heirs. Given on 30 April, 22 James [I].
