Grant by William Weldisshe of Lynton in the county of Kent, gentleman, to John Giles of Leveland in the county aforesaid, yeoman, of 4 pieces of land and their appurtenances estimated at 60 acres and lying in the parish of Westwell, 2 pieces called "Fretynfeld" or "Frendilfeld," the third called "Wynterfeld" or "Wynttfeld" - these three bounded by the land of the heirs of Henry Hussey and the land of the heirs of John Thursten to the east, the king's highway to the south, the land lately belonging to Christ Church, Canterbury and land of the heirs of the aforesaid John Oursten to the west and north; and the fourth piece of land called "Lytell Wroteham" bounded by the former lands of the said monastery to the east and south, the king's highway to the west, and land of the heirs of the said John Oursten to the north; which 4 pieces of land Thomas Weldishe his father purchased of Thomas Perott. Given on 15 February, 36 Henry VIII.
