Grant by William Heyward the Elder of Danbury, in the county of Essex, "yeoman to John Springfield of Chelmsford, Richard Humfreye, John Walinger, Thomas Marion, and John Pole of the same of all that messuage called "the Blewe Bore" with buildings on it and with garden adjacent, etc., lying in the town of Chelmsford, bounded by the tenement of Sir Robert Garton, chaplain of Blessed Mary on one side, and the cottages called "la Almisshowse" on the other side, abutting on the garden formerly of Richard Jospeh and [now] in the possession of William Aylnoth, and at the other and abutting on the king's highway leading to Brantree; to hold premises to the use of John Springfild: the said William, along with William Eveson, grocer, Thomas Munde, mercer, John Walinger, Thomas Springfild, and Thomas Stafford of Chelmsford had the premises of the feoffment of Thomas Tyler of Writyll, William Gar, William Brownyng, and Thomas Innewe by deed dated 30 November, 10 Henry VII. Given at Chelmsford on 26 March, 19 Henry VIII.
