Grant by Walter, son of Robert ate Broke, to Henry de Wenredeston of the parish of Lyndestede of 1 virgate and 3 "deywerkes" of the grantor's land in the parish of Westwell in a field called "le Norgland", bounded by the road leading from "la Lekede" towards Wychele to the west, the land of William le Crulle to the east, the land of the grantor's brother Alan to the north and the way lending to the land of the aforesaid William le Crulle to the south; also, a yearly rent of 1d. which Stephen son of Alexander the shoemaker pays on the virgil of St. Michael, for a certain land called "le Norgland", also of 1/3g 2d. yearly "forgabul", which John de Smetheton, clerk, pays on the vigil of St. Michael for a certain land called "Lyffisland." The grantee is to discharge the following rents: to the court of Lecton, the third part of a rent of 2d. a year; to the heirs of Tristram de Wychel', every year the third part of a half a hen, in the second year to the said court of Lecton the third part of one hen; to the abbess of Meallyng according to the quantity for the third part of the said hen; the third part of the 8th summons to the tenants of Waldis, the third part of one hurdle, and half in the second year; to mow and reap their part of half a virgate of meadow for the aforesaid court in the second year; and erase of "forgabul" at Midsummer to the grantor. For which grant the said Henry has given 11s. in gersum. Dated 10 Edward [I].
