Grant by Geoffrey ate Halegrove to William Heymis of half the garden and land called "Nyeweton" lying in La Leghe in the parish of Tenterdenne (Kent), bounded by lands of the grantor, the grantee, Thomas Frater and Richard Joce, together with a portion of land stretching from the King's Highway to the land of the aforsaid Thomas Frater and from the grantor's tree to "Longstake", for which grant the said Willaim has paid 25s. as a gersum. Done on the Saturday after the feast of St. Agatha the Virgin, 15 Edward III.
