Grant, 1383, Sept. 17. 7 Richard II.

Grant by Thomas Fisshacre and Alice his wife that if Nicholas de Morton enfeoff the said Thomas and Alice for the term of their life, [with remainder] to the heirs of their bodies, of the manor of Sprideleston (Devon), with all of it's messuages in Ebforde, Lipsotn, Rilogh, Hiwissh, Combe Spridel, and Bikeburg and rents in Sprideleston, Ebbeforde, Crenbeare, Lipston, Combe Spridel, Bikebury, and Hareston (Devon), within a month of his obtaining seisin form the said Thomas and Alice for the term of Alice's life, then the bond for 1000 marks in which Martin de Ferrares and the said Nicholas are bound to them shall be void. Given on the Thursday after the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, 7 Richard II.
