Grant of Annuity, 1602, March 14. 45 Elizabeth I.

Agreement witnessing that, whereas Zachary Scott of Hallden (Kent), esquire, granted to Reginald May of Broockland (Kent), for £100 an annuity of £10 issuing from his lands, etc., in the parishes of Orleston and Warhorne (Kent), with the first payment to be made on the feast of the Annunciation, 1604, if the said Zachary pay to Reginald on 26 March 1606 in the south porch of the parish church of Hallden, between the first and fourth hours after mid-day, £100 in one payment, along with all arrears, then this grant shall be void and the annuity cease. Given on 14 March, 45 Elizabeth [I], A.D. 1602.
