Opinion on discharging juries before a verdict in the case of the King of Great Britain v. Kinlock, ca. 1750.

An account of a case in which two brothers by the name of Kinlock were arrested for their involvement in the rebellion of 1745. They were charged and a jury was assembled. The Kinlocks made objections to the make-up of that jury and it was subsequently discharged. A second jury was assembled and found the brothers guilty. The issue of law thus relates to the legality of the second jury.
