Letter regarding ongoing litigation in the court at Pownalboro, over land titles conveyed during the 18th century by the Plymouth Company and the Proprietors of the Township of Brunswick. At issue was a deed of lands originally conveyed to "Brigadier Thompson"; an action had been brought against his heirs.
