Poor relief records, 1696-1813.

Two account books relating to the relief of the poor in Boston by the First Church of that city. The volumes, dating from 1696-1733 and 1779-1811, note incoming moneys from the Sacramental Box and outgoing expenses, primarily the relief of the city's poor. Also included are loose receipts and accounts contained in the volumes, 1718-1737 and 1778-1813.
