United States v. State of California, Hearing Transcript, 1952.

Transcript of March 24-28, 1952 Los Angeles Hearings. These hearings arose out of a 1949 Supreme Court order (337 U.S. 952) directing William H. Davis as Special Master to conduct hearings and make recommendations to the Court. The case concerned disputed federal or state dominion over certain waters on the coast of California. The collection also includes a significant amount of witness testimony and documents and information cited by witnesses.
