Swaddle, William C., Galesburg. Enlisted in company G, Engineers and Mechanics, as Sergeant, Sept. 16, 1861, at Kalamazoo, for 3 years, age 26. Mustered Oct. 29, 1861. Discharged for disability at Nashville, Tenn., Oct. 20, 1862. Re-entered service. Englished in company F, Engineers and Mechanics, Dec. 24, 1863, at Kalamazoo, for 3 years. Mustered Jan. 2, 1864.
