[A devout prayer, made ... after he was condemned to die], [1535 July].

Contemporary copy. This "devout prayer" is followed by: 1) "A spirituall glasse dayly to loke on", a "precept in -ly" which is published at the end of some editions of Imitatio Christi (STC 23961, [1531?] and later), and which is a shortened form of a precept possibly written by Richard Whitford (see Robins and Cutler's Supplement to the Index of Middle English Verse, 2794.8, and references there cited); 2) A prayer and pen and ink sketch of Christ rising from the tomb.
