Himie Voxman is among UI's most honored faculty and administrators. Dina Rees Evans was born June 19, 1891 in Chicago, Illinois. She received her B.A. degree from the University of South Dakota in 1913. She took her M.A. and Ph. D. degrees from the State University of Iowa in 1929 and 1932. Ms. Evans was an educator and high school principal in South Dakota, Illinois, Minnesota, and Montana from 1916 to 1928.
