Scrapbooks kept by Army nurse Marcia Gates, who served in Bataan and Corregidor during World War II and who was taken prisoner by the Japanese in 1942 and interned at the Santo Tomas camp in the Philippines until 1945, and her mother, containing correspondence, telegrams, photographs, clippings, and memorabilia. An unattributed obituary from 1970 is also included.
