John Harvey Kellogg collection, 1868-2000.

The John Harvey Kellogg Collection consists of letters, publications and photographs of John Harvey Kellogg and the Kellogg family. Includes documentation of the John Harvey Kellogg estate, and the estates of Richard C. Kellogg and Richard M. Kellogg. The collection also includes papers from Battle Creek College dating 1910-1946: Battle Creek College Bulletin (1914-1937), commencement week materials (1916-1938), student handbooks (1923-1938), and financial records of the college (1929-1946). Also included are student records from Battle Creek College. The collection contains documentation about the Race Betterment Foundation (one of Kellogg's philanthropic organizations), and publications written by John Harvey Kellogg and others. Many of the books were published by the Good Health Publishing Company (nonprofit subsidiary of the Battle Creek Sanitarium) and the Modern Medicine Publishing Company, a second Kellogg publishing venture.)
