1886 letter from F.W. Grant to Frank Mack, Associated Press Correspondent, regarding some information that he has for Mack. Photograph (cyanotype) of Mack and Dr. George F. Shrady, one of U.S. Grant's physicians. (Accompanying note from Emilie Mack Sullivan, formerly married to Mack, explains that Mack used Dr. Shrady as a source for his news reports.) There is also a photo of an engraving of U.S. Grant and a 1906 letter from Whitelaw Reid to Emilie Mack in which Reid regrets that he cannot purchase an engraving of U.S. Grant offered by Emile Mack.
