Photographs and images collection.

The collection consists of photographs, images, and reproductions of artwork featuring local scenes, documents, people and places. Some of the photographs are enlargements or duplicates of images from other parts of our archives. Prominent images include Barnstable Village buildings and houses; John Lothrop's baptismal record; the salt works in Yarmouth; shore whaling in Wellfleet; the cranberry industry in Harwich Port; and photographs of students of Barnstable High School in the late 1800's.
