The collection contains materials related to Swarthmore College alumni activities. The bulk of the collection is letters and related materials from fellow alumni, including Elizabeth Newlin Baker and Alice Paul, founder of the National Woman's Party (includes some printed materials related to the party and its involvement with the Equal Rights Amendment). There are also lists of members of the class of 1902, communications from Swarthmore's Alumni Office, and copies of the Swarthmore College Bulletin, 1957. A small set of materials pertains to historical records surveys of private manuscript collections, state library and county archives in Pennsylvania, conducted during the 1930s.
