Country fiddler Curly Fox discusses his career. Topics discussed include recording with the Shelton Brothers; playing his version of "Mockingbird" for the first time at a fiddlers' contest; playing against violinist David Rubinoff on shows promoted by Larry Sunbrock; memories of musicians he's played with, including Bradley Kincaid, Banjo Murphy, and Lloyd George (Lonzo of Lonzo and Oscar); the finances and logistics of WSM/Grand Ole Opry tent shows; recording for King Records and dealing with King founder Syd Nathan; his relationship with Fred Rose; Jim Denny's attempts to get Fox and Texas Ruby on the Grand Ole Opry's network "Prince Albert Show"; television shows in New York and Houston; and his admiration for George Jones.
