St. Denis Family Papers pertain to the will and succession of Sieur Louis Juchereau de St. Denis and of his widow (1732-1781). Documents pertaining to the Natchitoches Post include land and slave sale documents, successions, marriage contracts, guardianships, and a few papers pertaining to free African Americans (1733-1866). Manuscript volumes consist of a merchant's account book (1766-1768) and a brand register book (1903-1920).
