A certified copy of the Constitution of the State of Michigan, 1962, autographed on January 4, 1963 by Michigan State Senator Garry Brown, Anthony Stamm, and former Kalamazoo mayor, Glenn Allen Jr. Brown, Stamm and Allen were delegates to the Michigan State constitutional convention.

Allen was born on Jan. 8, 1914 in Kalamazoo (Mich.). He earned a law degree from Columbia University (1939). After establishing a law practice in Kalamazoo he was elected to the City Commission. During World War II he served as an Assist. Judge Advocate of the 94th Div. and as legal adviser to Gen. Patton. After the war, Allen spent 14 years with the firm of Crum, Allen, and Mullen. Senator Anthony Stamm, b. 3 Jul 1912, Kalamazoo, son of John and Stella Stamm; both natives of the Netherlands, mar. Miriam J. Wise of Milan. Senator Stamm was a delegate to the Michigan Constitutional Convention, 1961-1962. He was Kalamazoo County Clerk for 26 years, and won 2 four-year Senate terms in 1966 and 1970.
