San Francisco views [graphic] / photographed by Willard E. Worden. ca. 1900-1910.

Includes five night views of city streets and buildings with decorative electrical lights for Admission Day 1910, pre-1906 public buildings such as City Hall, the Hall of Justice, the U.S. Mint, and Union Square. Several views of navy ships are included, several of the Palace Hotel, and one of a Chinese funeral. Particularly unusual are a view of the interior of a Chinese theater, and a view of an especially elaborate beach home made of old streetcars at "Carville", Ocean Beach.

Willard Elmer Worden began his career as a photographer in San Francisco in 1902. His first studio was at the Cliff House. Worden received acclaim for his photographs of Chinatown, the 1906 Earthquake and Fire, and the Panama Pacific International Exposition.
