Personal and business papers of Thomas Herbert (d. 1712) of Whittlebury, Northamptonshire, and his son, Edmund Herbert, of Gray's Inn (d. 1769). Thomas Herbert served as bailiff on the estates of Earl Arlington and Duke of Grafton from 1672 until his death in 1712. His son Thomas (d. 1728) took over the position.
