Versified treatise on Qurʼanic reading. The text is preceded on fol. 7b-8a by several tables (jadwal) with the abbreviations used to refer to the different readings of the Qurʼān. At the end of the copy is an autograph reading certificate and ijāzah from the author for his son Abū al-Khayr and those who attended the reading, dated Friday ---? 803 (fol. 57a). Another autograph reading certificate and ijāzah for his son Abū al-Fatḥ, dated Īnkūl(?) near Burṣah, 9 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 804, on fol. 57b.
