John Tyler letter to Letitia Floyd [manuscript], 1846 October 20.

Floyd writes concerning the appointment of her son-in-law George Frederick Holmes as a professor at William and Mary. He also notes the birth of David Gardiner Tyler, his first son by his second wife Julia Gardiner Tyler, remarking that he is "a glorious boy who renews my youth."
