Albert Winter discusses the acquisition of the farm land; family history including the family's German roots; his father's Holstein cattle business; early milking machines; his contract with Iowa State University to sell "certified" grain which could then be marketed to farmers throughout the state; his years as a school board member and the rural school system; singing at church and playing various musical instruments; and games people used to play.
